Some of you may of heard about my starting out organization, And He Spelled Hope. (www.myspace.com/and_he_spelled_hope) One thing about Josh was that he was trying to quit cutting through his stuggle. To help him stop his SI he decided to do something called The Butterfly Project. He took this idea off of WikiHow and implemented it for himself. The Butterfly Project is: When you have the urge to cut draw a butterfly where you want to cut. Now you don't want the butterfly to die so it has to wear off into the wild to be free. In this time you have to hold the urge to cut and if you do cut wash the butterfly away because it didn't make it to be free in the wild. (taken from www.wikihow.com/Stop-Cutting-Yourself) Im asking everyone to please take a picture of a butterfly on your arm, wrist, ect and send them to my email (andhespelledhope@yahoo.com) or post them here. I would love to make a collage of the pictures and use them for the main profile picture on And He Spelled Hopes MySpace. If you want to get creative decorating them and such, that would be amazing. I ask that if you know anyone whose commited suicide or who cuts today to please write that persons first and last inital under your butterfly. One butterfly per name but you may send me as many butterflies (pics) as you like. I will use all of the pictures sent. Thanks alot everyone! If you have any questions please feel free to ask me here, PM, or at andhespelledhope@yahoo.com
